Today, at 13:12 in the territory of Georgia the optical lines E-1 of the company ArmenTel were damaged. In the result of it the connection outside Armenia was lost.
The connection was restored at 15:43.

19 November 2003 Dear virtual mail users! Now you can send your e-mail through our SMTP server, even when you are not working in WEB ISP network, by POP before SMTP mechanism. To do that just specify vmail.web.am in your mail-client options in outgoing SMTP server field. Pay attention, that it is necessary for you to pass authorization before sending e-mail. Check mail in your inbox to pass authorization. If you need to send an e-mail again after 15 minutes - simply check your e-mail one more time. If you receive an error message at attempt to send an e-mail then you need to pass authorization again.

SMTP and POP3 server names from mail.web.am to vmail.web.am in their mail-client options.
For users, whose e-mail account ending by @web.am need to use old settings.

incoming traffic are revised, and correspondingly there are some changes in the
policy of traffic calculation: there will be different prices for outgoing
and incoming traffic. Also there is a considerable price-cutting of traffic
